|1/2 Cup Chopped Yellow Onion|
|1 Finely Diced Jalapeños|
|2 Minced Garlic Cloves|
|16 oz Macaroni|
|2 Cups Milk|
|8 oz Softened Cream Cheese|
|8 oz Shredded Sharp Cheddar|
|1 Pkg Cooked and Diced Bacon|
|1 Sleeve of Finely Crushed Soda Crackers|
|Salt & Pepper to Taste|
What I go for in my cooking is sinful, bold and real.
This gourmet Mac & Cheese is packed with flavor, and heat! If your guests don’t like spicy food, you can completely omit the jalapeños. But you will be missing out for sure!
Place oil, onion, jalapeños, and garlic into a large skillet and sauté over medium heat until the onions are translucent and fragrant.
Meanwhile, bring a pot of generously salted water to a boil. Add your macaroni noodles and cook until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Place the milk and cheese into the skillet and whisk until the cheese has melted, approximately 10 minutes.
Season with salt and pepper.
Mix your macaroni noodles into your sauce until well combined.
Add the crushed crackers and bacon pieces on top. Bake uncovered for 20 minutes.
