This chocolate sauce is so good that you will want it on your ice cream or any other desert that calls for chocolate sauce. Just remember that this chocolate sauce contains alcohol so be mindful of your audience. - 1/2 Cup Water
- 2/3 Cup White Sugar
- 3/4 Cup Cocoa Powder
- 1/2 Tsp Salt
- 1/2 Cup Heavy Cream
- 1/4 Cup Butter
- 1 Tsp Vanilla Extract
- 1/2 Cup Sambuca
How to make this Recipe
- In a small saucepan, combine water and sugar and stir until sugar is completely dissolved.
- Remove pan from heat and add cocoa powder, whisking until smooth. Add salt, cream and butter and return to low heat, whisking until butter is melted.
- Simmer sauce for about 2 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- Stir in vanilla and Sambuca.
