Cinnamon Apple Biscuits

A super simple recipe for Cinnamon Apple Biscuits. These sweet biscuits are addictive!

Cinnamon Apple Biscuits

I need help in figuring out if these Cinnamon Apple Biscuits are a dessert or just a plain ole biscuit. I am open to suggestions.

Whichever it is, these apple biscuits are simply delicious. It doesn’t get much easier than this recipe if you are looking to make some delicious biscuits.

Just like every other biscuit recipe on the planet, all we are really looking at is All-Purpose Flour, Sugar, Salt, and some liquid – in this case, Milk – plus a few other ingredients.

All the stuff you should already have in your pantry. If you don’t have fresh apples on hand, you may need to make a run to the local grocery store.

What I like about this biscuit recipe is that besides being super easy to make, the apples and cinnamon add a great flavor to an otherwise boring biscuit.

Not that there is anything wrong with a plain biscuit, but the addition of the apples and cinnamon is a nice touch.

If you don’t have any vegetable shortening on hand you can substitute for an equal amount of butter. It will slightly change the texture (less flaky in this case) but probably your best option.

  1. I am not one of those old fashioned cooks that use a pinch of this and a handful of that so I am wanting to try this recipe but there are no specific amounts for the sugar, cinnamon and butter. Any ideas on how much I should use of each?

  2. easy peasy and you can use the amount of sugar you prefer as biscuit dough isnt sweet….I did add in raisins…perfect.

  3. OMG these are delicious. An outstanding recipe. I usually like to alter some of the recipes I get from this site, but this one is delicious just like it is. It is easy to make and easy to follow. I had no problem following the recipe and the biscuits turned out perfect. I will make them again this weekend for company that is staying with me.
