Orange Soda Bundt Cake

A Delicious Orange Soda Bundt Cake. The use of soda as a substitute for water makes this one moist and delicious cake!

orange soda bundt cake

This Orange Soda Bundt Cake is probably one of my favorite cakes to make. No lie, substituting water for flavored soda makes all the difference in the world.

batter in bundt pan

I previously did this with my Shirley Temple Bundt Cake. If you are one of the few that don’t have a bundt pan (you should) you can use this batter with any shape cake pan you have handy.

What I like about using a bundt pan is that it makes it that much easier to glaze. Since this bundt cake calls for an orange glaze, I decided to use a bundt pan. Next time though I might either make cupcakes or mini-loaves. Yummy!

This delicious cake recipe calls for some Orange Soda. Make sure you use the carbonated kind. Orange flavored water or Orange Seltzer will not work. Look for brands like Orange Crush, Fanta or Sunkist just to name a few (no affiliation).

If lemon is more your thing, check out my Lemon Wow Bundt Cake. It’s also become a family favorite. But since you are looking at this recipe, I am going to assume you prefer orange-flavored cakes. If that’s the case, you MUST try my Orange Dreamsicle Cake.

  1. I’ve been looking for a full recipe like this, most just throw in the soda, no pudding or anything else. So, Thank you for that! However….what size pudding?? eeep! Gonna try it with the 4 serving, hope it works. 🙂

    1. I would bake at the same temperature and target the same duration but I would suggest checking regularly after the halfway point with a toothpick to ensure it bakes properly.
