2 8 oz Cans Crushed Pineapples
1 Cup Brown Sugar
1 Tbsp Cornstarch
1/4 Tsp Salt
2 Tbsp Lemon Juice
1 Tbsp Dijon Mustard
I make no bones about it. I have no understanding of pastry.
This Pineapple sauce is so easy to make I literally made an hour before heading over to my mother-in-law’s for dinner. You most likely already have all the ingredients in your pantry except possibly the cans of crushed pineapples.
In a small sauce pan mix the brown sugar, cornstarch and salt.
Stir in undrained crushed pineapple, lemon juice and mustard.
Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until mixture thickens and comes to a boil. Boil while stirring for 1 minute.
Boil while stirring for 1 minute.
Serve warm with Ham.
