On a recent trip to the Grand Canyon, I came across this wonderful old recipe created by Frank Russell for Ranch Style Beans. Easy to make with just a handful of simple ingredients.

Frank Russell was a cowboy who spent his time traveling around Arizona. Frank said that this recipe was one of his favorite meals when he was out on the road. Now you can enjoy it too with a few tweaks from yours truly.

I love baked beans and this recipe is number 1 in my book. Very tasty and not at all hard to make. Once in the pot, you just leave them until cooked.
