Slow Cooker Honey Garlic Glazed Wings

I need to start making more chicken wings. They are so easy to make, especially in a slow cooker, and a perfect snack food while watching the football game or NASCAR race. All you need to do is plan ahead a bit as these will take a minimum of 6 hours before they are ready to eat. While this recipe doesn’t call for it, once cooked, you can put the wings on a baking sheet coated in the remaining sauce and broil them for 3 to 5 minutes.

How to Make this Recipe

Sprinkle the chicken wings with salt and pepper and place them in the bottom of your slow cooker.

In a small mixing bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, ginger and oil. Pour over the chicken wings.

Cook on low for 6 to 8 hours.

If the sauce is too thin at this point, pour sauce into a saucepan and bring to a boil. Add the cornstarch and continue to cook until the sauce thickens.

Pour the sauce back into the slow cooker and toss the wings to coat.
