Add all ingredients except Whiskey to a saucepan and let cook for about 10 minutes until berries make a popping sound.
Turn heat to low and add Whiskey. Stir and let cook for another minute. Remove cinnamon stick.
Remove from heat and move to a bowl. The cranberry sauce will thicken up as it sits.
→ If you don't have Vanilla Bean you can substitute with 1 Tsp of Vanilla Extract.→ Please take into consideration that some of the alcohol may not completely burn off and the remains could be of significant concern to recovering alcoholics, parents, and others who have ethical or religious reasons for avoiding alcohol.→ For a non-alcoholic version of this cranberry sauce, you can simply omit the whiskey as there is no acceptable substitute for it.
