There’s no easier way to make Homemade Sweet Potato Fries than in your Air Fryer. Tender fries ready in about 30 minutes!

I love Sweet Potato Fries. This time instead of using the frozen variety I decided to make my own from scratch and make them in my Air Fryer.

While this recipe is pretty simple, the hardest part will be cutting the sweet potatoes. If you are fortunate enough to own a french fry cutter it will make the job so much easier.

Tips

  • When raw, sweet potatoes can be hard as a rock. I like to microwave 2-3 minutes depending on their size to soften them up a bit to make it easier to slice or put through the fry machine.
  • Cook times may vary from air fryer to air fryer so I recommend starting with the times listed on the recipe card and adjusting accordingly.

In addition to adding salt before the final cook, you can also add a little chili powder, garlic powder or even a little brown sugar. Experiment and make it your own!
