I love this Boursin Cheese Pasta Bake recipe. Perfectly melded with al dente pasta and a medley of savory herbs.
To add a little more protein to this dish I decided to add some chicken but you can omit it if you want.
💭 Ingredient Substitution
If you don't have any chicken on hand you can substitute for some ground turkey, ground beef, or for a healthier version of this dish some Tofu!
I used the Garlic & Fine Herbs infused Boursin Cheese but you can use whatever flavor you want like their Shallot & Chive or Basil & Chive.
💭 What is Al Dente
When making pasta, it's important to cook the pasta al dente to ensure to best texture possible.
If you are not familiar with the term "al dente", it means cooking the pasta so it's still chewy and firm and that it will hold its shape when the sauce is added to it.
Always follow the directions on the package for the recommended al dente cook times (typically between 10-12 minutes).
I already had some grape tomatoes on hand so that is what I used for the pasta bake but you can easily substitute for some Cherry Tomatoes.
You can also use whatever kind of pasta you want for this recipe. I've used Fettucine, Bow Tie (Farfalle) and Rotini. Next time I make this pasta bake I might even try using Spaghetti noodles.
