I love these Delicious Donut Muffins. They are great for breakfast, lunch or even dessert! It's amazing how this simple recipe actually tastes like cinnamon sugar-coated donuts. These muffins are very similar to my Cinnamon Donut Bread.
For those of you that like a lot of cinnamon sugar on their donuts, make sure you double the topping recipe below (minus the butter unless you need it). Personally, I like them just the way they are but feel free to experiment. That's what cooking is all about!

You will need the following ingredients to make this muffin recipe: White Sugar, Unsalted Butter, Ground Nutmeg, Milk, Baking Powder, All Purpose Flour and Ground Cinnamon.
🥣 How to Make these Delicious Donut Muffins
In a mixing bowl, mix sugar, butter, and nutmeg. Stir in milk, then add baking powder and flour until combined.
Fill greased muffin cups about half full. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown. Let muffins cool slightly before removing from muffin tin.
While muffins are baking, place the ¼ cup of melted butter in a small bowl. In a separate bowl, mix ½ cup sugar and cinnamon.
Remove muffins from cups, dip each muffin in melted margarine then roll in the sugar-cinnamon mixture. Let cool before serving.

- ¾ Tsp Ground Nutmeg
- ½ Cup Milk
- 1 Tsp Baking Powder
- 1 Cup All Purpose Flour

- Preheat Oven to 375°F.
- In a mixing bowl, mix sugar, butter and nutmeg. Stir in milk, then add baking powder and flour until combined.
