I love these Delicious Donut Muffins. They are great for breakfast, lunch or even dessert! It's amazing how this simple recipe actually tastes like cinnamon sugar-coated donuts.
These muffins are very similar to my Cinnamon Donut Bread. But if you are looking for another delicious muffin recipe you need to try my Brown Sugar Muffins as well.
For those of you that like a lot of cinnamon sugar on their donuts, make sure you double the topping recipe below (minus the butter unless you need it). Personally, I like them just the way they are but feel free to experiment. That's what cooking is all about!
Be mindful that this recipe only makes 6 muffins. Which is great if you are baking for 1 or 2 people. If you need to make a dozen muffins simply double the ingredients.
Another delicious cinnamon-sugar-based recipe is my "famous" Cinnamon Sugar Beaver Tails. I say famous because for the longest time it was my most popular recipe. And to this day always in my top 5 most viewed recipes.
