This Asian Noodles with Peanut Sauce is one of my favorite recipes to make. It is so simple and quick to make but don’t let that fool you. This Asian noodle dish is so flavorful thanks to the peanut dressing.

I often use the words quick & easy on this site but this recipe is as simple as boiling water. The Lo Mein noodles cook very quickly, no more than 5 minutes.
You never want to overcook these kinds of noodles! Make sure you check the directions on the package for specifics.

As noted on the recipe card below, you simply add the vegetable medley to the boiling noodles approximately 3 minutes before the noodles are ready. You will need to play around with the timing based on your setup.

But the star of the show has to be the Peanut Sauce. Not only does it require common ingredients you probably already have in your kitchen, it takes only 2 minutes to make!
I obviously spend a lot of time in the kitchen so I didn’t need to run to the grocery store for any ingredients but you might not have Hoisin Sauce on hand. It plays an important role so please don’t substitute if you can avoid it.

A nice variation to this dish would be to substitute the veggie medley for some chicken. Now you will have to change the preparation as you don’t want to boil the chicken in the water.
Cook the noodles according to the directions on the package. Drain the water, put the noodles in a serving dish, add the cooked chicken and peanut dressing and toss well. Voila!
