You will need the following ingredients to make these Copycat A&W Whistle Dogs: Hot Dogs, Hot Dog Buns, Cheddar Cheese, Bacon, Sweet Relish and White Onion.
🥣 How to make A&W Whistle Dogs
Slice the hot dogs down the middle but not all the way through.
Heat up the grill to medium and grill the hot dogs on both sides until nice grill marks appear and internal temperature reaches 140°F.
Toast the buns on the grill, open side down.
Place one hot dog in each bun and fill the hot dog with cheese. Put the hot dog under a broiler to melt the cheese.
Top with crisp bacon, relish, and onions.

- 4 Hot Dogs
- 4 Hot Dog Buns, toasted
- 1 Cup Cheddar Cheese, grated
- 4 slices Bacon, cooked crisp
- ¼ Cup Sweet Relish
