copycat chipotle carne asada

I was in the mood for a taco bowl but instead of using chicken as my protein, I decided to make this copycat carne asada from Chipotle. Carne Asada translates to grilled meat, specifically beef. In Mexican Cuisine, carne asada is a popular choice of meat and can be used in a variety of dishes.

Carne Asada is usually made with skirt steak, flap steak, flank steak and sometimes even chuck steak. The other important piece for making a good care asada is the marinade. And this Copycat Chipotle recipe has a great marinade.
