If you’ve never grilled your Salmon on a Cedar Plank you have no idea what you are missing. The cedar enhances the flavor of the salmon fillets while providing a safety barrier between the grill and the flesh.

While this recipe is pretty straightforward to make, you will need to plan ahead. The cedar planks need to soak in water for at least an hour before they can be used or they will burn. As long as you plan accordingly, this is the best way to enjoy Salmon Fillets.

  • Place the cedar planks on the preheated grill for 2 minutes on each side before using them.

This recipe is delicious. I had never used these planks before, so decided to purchase some. It was well worth it. The salmon was beyond my expectation. Very moist.
