I was craving some Salmon one evening and decided to make the salmon fillets in my Air Fryer. I wanted to see if they would turn out as good as on a cedar plank. Well, since I am publishing this, the salmon turned out really good!

The FDA recommends cooking salmon to an internal temperature of 145°F, measured in the thickest part of the salmon fillets.

If you are experienced at baking salmon you can eyeball it and tell by its texture but if you are not comfortable with that process, use a good thermometer and insert it into the thickest part of the steak. Just ensure the internal temperature does not exceed 145°F or the salmon will dry out.

Not everyone has avocado oil at their disposal so you can substitute for some Extra Virgin Olive Oil (EVOO). Same quantity as the Avocado Oil. Just try to use the best quality EVOO as possible.

These Air Fryer Salmon Fillets are delicious and very tasty. I am a great lover of Salmon and so is my family. The Air Fryer keeps the moisture in and the avocado oil just gives it that special flavour. A great recipe.
