It really doesn't get simpler than this Sloppy Joe Biscuit Bake. A handful of simple ingredients and about 30 minutes in the oven and you have a great casserole that the whole family will love.

On the surface, I realize this recipe may seem a little plain on the surface. Well that's one of the things I love about recipes like this. They are so versatile that you can customize it by adding any ingredients you want. The possibilities are endless.

    💭 Ingredient Substitution

You can make this wonderful recipe with either Ground Beef or Ground Turkey. If you use Ground Beef I strongly suggest a lean ground beef. I've made this dish using both kinds of meat and they are equally delicious!

🐄 How to Handle Raw Beef

Thaw raw ground beef on a plate on the lowest shelf of the refrigerator, to avoid dripping onto other foods.
Keep raw and ready-to-eat meats separate.
Wash hands thoroughly before and after handling raw ground beef. Wash cutting boards, bowls, and utensils used to prepare raw ground beef with hot soapy water and rinse well.
Use separate plates to carry raw ground beef patties to the cooking area and cooked patties to the serving area.
Use a Thermometer to ensure Ground Beef Reaches the Safely Cooked Internal Temperature of 160°F.

This sloppy Joe biscuit bake is very tasty. I used ground turkey which my family is not a fan of, but in this recipe they did not even know the difference. The biscuits make the recipe a nice crust and makes it very tasteful.
