    Zucchini Sausage Casserole

I was getting tired of always making the same types of casseroles so decided to give this Zucchini Sausage Casserole a try.

ground pork sausage and zucchini in skilltet

What I especially like about this recipe is how easy it is to make with only a few simple ingredients.

all the ingredients in the skillet

Not only that but only a few minutes to prepare and 30 minutes in the oven which makes this casserole a good candidate for those busy weeknights!

    💭 Ingredient Substitution

If you don't have any ground sausage on hand or just don't care for the taste, you can substitute for some Ground Turkey or even some Lean Ground Beef.

    💭 Recipe Variation

Add a layer of shredded cheese to the top layer. Use a good melting cheese like Mozzarella or Monterey Jack Cheese.

You can also use less stuffing for this recipe if you want. Make sure you adjust the amount of melted butter if you do use less stuffing.
