I was in the mood for some pancakes and bacon so I decided to try this Chocolate Chip Pancake recipe from Celebrity Chef Bobby Flay.

Just like most other pancake recipes, this one calls for the same ingredients that you would expect in a pancake except the chocolate chips.

pancake batter on griddle

If you are going to make these pancakes ahead of time place the cooked pancakes on a baking sheet and place them in the oven at 250°F.

You can serve these delicious chocolate chip pancakes however you want.

The traditional way is to drizzle some maple syrup over the top and add a pat of butter on top.

If you really want to take it up a notch how about drizzle some chocolate sauce over the pancakes and add a dollop of whipped cream?

I like my pancakes the traditional way with a side of bacon and scrambled eggs.
