These Chocolate Chip Guess Again Cookies are a Sweet & Salty Cookie thanks to the potato chips and chocolate chip combo. Yummy!
My mother-in-law’s grandma used to make a cookie called Guess Again Cookies. This recipe is very similar but with chocolate chips and a few other ingredients.
You get the sweetness from the chocolate and the saltiness from the potato chips. It may sound like an odd combination for a cookie, but if you are a cookie monster like I am, you need to give this recipe a shot!
For the Potato Chips you can use whatever you want but I prefer a regular potato chip or a classic sea salt, something with little flavor so it doesn’t interfere with the other ingredients. The potato chips are more for texture than flavor.
One of the ingredients you may not have on hand is the Malted Milk Powder. You do have a few options like using Ovaltine (no affiliation). I had a little difficulty finding malted milk powder at my local grocery store so I ordered some from Amazon.
If you are one of the few who doesn’t like Chocolate (really?), you should try this version that doesn’t have chocolate in it: Guess Again Cookies
