Now here is a fun recipe for some “grown-up” cupcakes. Cinnamon Whiskey Cupcakes! Since everyone loves cupcakes, and since I also like Whiskey, it was a no brainer for me to make this recipe.

cupcake batter in pan

I used red food coloring since I thought it would “match” the flavor of cinnamon Whiskey, but you can use any color you desire or none at all!

For this go-round, I used plain white vanilla frosting (and some red sprinkles) but you can easily experiment with food coloring and do whatever you want! Imagine the possibilities for Halloween.

Instead of plain white frosting, you can use my Cream Cheese Frosting or my Boiled Cake Icing recipe.
