stuffing balls

I often get bored with making the same old recipes all the time. A friend told me they saw someone make stuffing balls for Thanksgiving dinner instead of the same old boring way. Turns out it’s a lot easier to make than you realize.

The ingredients used for these stuffing balls are what you would expect when making traditional stuffing. The beauty of this recipe is that you can easily modify if you have a different way of making your stuffing.

stuffing balls

The trickiest part of this recipe is to ensure the stuffing mixture has the right consistency to form balls. The water listed on the printable recipe card is optionally depending on your situation.

I like to bake these stuffing balls and a foil-lined baking sheet but you can also put them in a baking dish. Just make sure whatever you use is lightly greased so the balls don’t stick to the bottom of the pan or dish.

Tips

  • Cook time will vary based on the size of the balls. Larger balls will take longer to cook.
  • You can also cook these stuffing balls in a slow cooker. Cover and cook on low setting for 3 1/2 to 4 hours or until done.
