I recently bought a couple of pre-made pizza crusts and want to experiment with a new pizza sauce. While not really a new recipe, it was to me.
I decided to try this copycat pizza recipe from Little Caesar’s to see if it is as good as the original.

As you would expect, this pizza sauce is super easy to make. It will probably take you more time to get all the spices together than make this recipe.
I realize many people are still “afraid” to use MSG in their recipes but if you do a little research online you will see that it is safe to use – per the FDA.

That being said, you can omit the MSG if want. While it will enhance the flavor of this delicious copycat pizza sauce recipe, leaving it out won’t ruin the recipe.
Copycat Rating
Since the goal of a Copycat Recipe is for it to taste exactly like the original, it’s only natural to rate this recipe against the original. This Copycat recipe rates a solid 8 out of 10 in my opinion.

When it comes time to make the pizza, you can do whatever tickles your fancy. You can use pre-made pizza dough or try my Homemade Pizza Dough Recipe.
