Now that I’ve been making batches of my Homemade Pizza Dough every other week so I always have some on hand, I decided to start making my own pizza sauce as well. In addition to my Little Caesar’s Pizza Sauce and my No-Cook Pizza Sauce, this Copycat Domino’s Pizza Sauce is one of my favorites to make!
Not only can you use this pizza sauce for pizza sauce, but you can also use it in stromboli’s, calzones or even as a dipping sauce for Mozzarella Sticks, Breadsticks or even for Meatball Subs!

This Copycat Recipe calls for a couple of cups of pre-made pizza sauce. Make sure you use a basic pizza sauce if you can with no or very little additional seasonings. Some popular brands include Hunt’s, Rao, Angela Mia, etc. (no affiliation).
I realize many people are still “afraid” to use MSG in their recipes but if you do a little research online you will see that it is safe to use – per the FDA. That being said, you can omit the MSG if want. While it will enhance the flavor of this delicious pizza sauce recipe, leaving it out won’t ruin it.

This recipe will yield about 2 cups of pizza sauce. On average you will use about 1/2 cup of pizza sauce for a 12-inch pizza so you will have enough sauce for 4 pizzas! Your mileage may vary if you use more or less sauce for your pizza.
