If you are looking for something totally different then you have to try this delicious Peanut Butter Cake recipe. Peanut Butter Heaven!
I needed to make a cake for an event I was attending and wanted to do something a little different so decided to give this Peanut Butter Cake recipe a shot. And I am happy I did.
This cake recipe is no different than other boxed cake recipes. Besides the addition of some creamy peanut butter to the cake batter, it really is no different than other simple cake recipes.
I’m including a simple recipe for peanut butter frosting as well. My wife thinks a chocolate frosting would go nicely with this peanut butter cake.
Kinda like Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups. One variation I haven’t tried yet is to use crunchy peanut butter for the frosting. I think it would add a nice texture.
Instead of using Butter Cake mix, you can try using a white cake mix or even a yellow cake mix. I haven’t personally tried it but should turn out just fine with minimal change to the overall flavor of the cake.
My wife thinks it might be fun to try using a chocolate cake mix for this cake recipe but I think I am going to wait before trying that variation.
