Horseradish Meatloaf

This horseradish meatloaf is not for the faint of heart! While it includes all the ingredients you would typically find in a meatloaf, this gourmet meatloaf also includes some horseradish (hence the name of the dish) as well as a bit of chili sauce for good measure.

How to Make this Recipe


Preheat oven to 350F.


In a large mixing bowl, add the crushed soda crackers, chopped celery, diced onion, horseradish, mustard, chili sauce, beaten egg, Worcestershire, salt and pepper.


Crumble ground beef into bowl and mix well until all the ingredients are combined.


Put ground beef mixture into greased loaf pan. Spread the ketchup over the top of the meat mixture.


Bake for 55 minutes or until meat is no longer pink. Let stand for 10 minutes before cutting and serving.

Chef's Notes

- You can substitute the crushed soda crackers for crumbled bread soaked in milk or crushed tortilla chips.

- Use ground beef with less than 10 grams of fat for the best outcome.
