This Carolina BBQ sauce recipe has the perfect balance between tangy and sweet. It’s what makes Carolina-style BBQ so renowned.
Living on the West Coast you don’t get to experience Carolina BBQ Sauce very much. But I was determined to try it as I love a good sauce so I figured I might as well make it myself.
Tips
- This BBQ Sauce is typically used for basting Ribs, etc. but can also be used as a dipping sauce.
- You can use whatever brand of hot sauce you want to make this BBQ Sauce. I always have some Frank’s Hot Sauce on hand so that is what I used.
