My wife was in the mood for some chicken wings (again) and instead of making them like I usually do I decided to give my Air Fryer a shot as it was over 100°F outside and I wasn’t in the mood for using the oven or going outside and firing up the grill.
Glad I did because these wings turned out great! The only issue, if I had to nitpick, is that my air fryer basket is on the small side so I had to cook the wings in batches.

I was a little concerned that the wings would not cook properly in my air fryer but I was pleasantly surprised. Maybe a tad overcooked for my taste buds but my wife loved them.
It’s quite possible I didn’t get the dial set correctly (the next air fryer will be a digital model) but the cook times listed on the printable recipe card are where you want to start. You can adjust the cook times accordingly depending on how you like your wings.

One of the things I really like about this wings recipe is that you can literally make any kind of wings you want! Simply make your favorite sauce or use the bottled stuff and once the wings are ready, simply toss them in your fav sauce.
I’ve compiled a list of some of my favorite Chicken Wing Sauces but if they don’t do it for you, I suggest you check out some of my BBQ Sauce recipes.
