I’m always looking for different ways to make Sliders. My wife loves buffalo chicken so I decided to create these Creamy Buffalo Chicken Sliders. In addition to creamy buffalo chicken sauce, I decided to add some blue cheese, bacon and pickles with a drizzle of hot honey.
While this recipe is already easy to make, you can use bottled creamy buffalo sauce and hot honey to save time. I’m including a simple creamy buffalo sauce recipe on the printable recipe card but if you want to make your own hot honey mix 1/2 cup of honey with 1-2 teaspoons of your favorite buffalo wing sauce.

I like the flavor of Hawaiian Slider Buns but you can use whatever kind you prefer. I like the sweetness added from the Hawaiian buns to offset some of the heat from the buffalo cream sauce and hot honey.
How to Make Bacon
If you don’t feel like cooking bacon just for this recipe you can use precooked bacon. Simply warm it up in the microwave and chop it up. You probably won’t even taste the difference.
If you’re for different ways to cook bacon, I’ve put together a short tutorial on “How to Make Perfect Bacon – 3 Ways.” I highly recommend checking it out! My preferred method is baking it in the oven. Alternatively, if you have an Air Fryer, you can also prepare bacon using my Air Fryer Bacon recipe.

Recipe Tips
- Using rotisserie chicken is the easiest and quickest way to make these sliders but if you cook your own chicken make sure it reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
- I use bottled Hot Honey as I like to use it for other recipes but you can easily make your own by combining honey and hot sauce.
Serving Suggestions
Besides the usual celery sticks and a side of blue cheese ranch dipping sauce, you can also serve the sliders with chips, coleslaw, sweet potato fries or whatever else you can think of!
