ham fried rice

Do you have a bunch of leftover ham and not sure what to make with it? Well you can make my Delicious Ham Salad Sandwiches or you can make this Fantastic Ham Fried Rice.

If you or your guests don’t like pineapple, feel free to leave that ingredient out. For the frozen mixed vegetables, we like to use frozen peas and carrots but you can use whatever you have on hand. I just find that peas and carrots are a little more authentic.

Just like most fried rice recipes, you can either use it as a side dish or you can turn it into a main course by adding more ham to the rice mixture. I can’t tell you how many times I scooped up a full bowl of fried rice for my main course.

You also have the option of making the scrambled eggs ahead of time if you are not a fan of adding the raw eggs to the same skillet as the rice and vegetables. The end result will be the same.

This Fantastic Ham Fried Rice is one of the best recipes I have ever made. So tasty. The pineapple was not too sweet but added a great flavour. Thank you Chef for posting this great recipe.
