    Instant Pot Pulled Pork Sandwiches

This Instant Pot Pulled Pork Sandwiches recipe is one of the best if you are looking to make pulled pork sandwiches in your pressure cooker.

    Instant Pot Pulled Pork Sandwiches

With very little prep time, you will be amazed at how amazing the pork turns out. If you don't often cook with pork, it is important to select a Pork Shoulder versus the other type of cuts available. You shouldn't have any trouble finding pork shoulder as it's a very common cut.

You may, however, have a hard time finding a boneless pork shoulder. No worries, you can still use a bone-in but you will need to spend the extra time cutting the meat off the bone!

    💭 Instant Pot Pressure Cooker

The Instant Pot is a combination pressure cooker, slow cooker, rice cooker, steamer with a few other capabilities. With an Instant Pot, you can make some recipes in minutes compared to hours the traditional way. While not always the case, it's a very handy appliance if you are always on the run.

The Instant Pot comes with several safety features. If you happen to encounter an error message on the display of your IP, I suggest you visit Instant Pot's Official Customer Care Center.

If you frequently use your Instant Pot Pressure Cooker, you've probably experienced a "smelly" lid. Here's a simple way to get rid of the smell. Fill the Instant Pot with 2 Cups of White Vinegar. Seal the lid. Use the steam setting for 2 minutes. Remove the rubber ring from the lid and let dry completely before using it.

    💭 Ingredient Substitution

If you don't have any beer on hand and don't want to go to the grocery store, or simply don't want to use beer, you can use an equal amount of Apple Juice in its place. Apple pairs very well with Pork.

If you've ever wondered what part of the pig Pork Shoulder comes from check out the picture below. Surprised?

An alternative to using chicken broth is Better Than Bouillon. I often use it when I don't have broth on hand.

🥣 How to Make these Instant Pot Pulled Pork Sandwiches

In a small bowl, combine chili powder, salt and pepper and mix well. Rub spice mixture into the pork ensuring it is completely covered.

Skim excess fat from the surface of the liquid. Press saute and cook for another 10 minutes or the liquid has thickened. You can add some cornstarch if you want. Meanwhile, shred the pork using a couple of forks.
In a large bowl, combine the pork and 1 cup sauce and mix well.
