Did you know you can cook Basmati Rice in a Sous Vide bath? Perfect rice ready in a little over 30 minutes.
If you have a Sous Vide machine you seriously need to give this cooking method a try. You won’t be disappointed.
Why Sous Vide
One of the benefits of cooking Basmati rice in Sous Vide is you are pretty much guaranteed a perfect texture since Sous vide ensures a precise cooking temperature.
The only drawback I see is that it takes a little longer to make compared to cooking it on the stovetop especially when you consider the time it takes to bring the water bath up to temperature.
