spicy hot mustard

If you visit this food blog regularly, you already know I love to make my own sauces and condiments. This Spicy Hot Mustard recipe is a fantastic addition to all my other Condiments, Sauces & Rubs recipes.

Just like most other recipes like this, it is super easy to make. A handful of ingredients that you combine in a bowl and voila!

No boiling is needed for this mustard recipe. But I highly recommend you let it sit in the refrigerator to maximize the flavor. But you are free to use it immediately if you want to!

Since I always have a couple of bottles of Frank’s RedHot Sauce in the refrigerator (both original cayenne pepper sauce and buffalo wings sauce) that’s what I used for this mustard recipe. You can substitute for whatever hot sauce you have on hand like Cholula or Tabasco.

I love this spicy mustard on my burgers but it would also be great on Hot Dogs, Corn Dogs or any type of sandwich where you usually use mustard.

My wife even likes to use it as a dipping sauce for her chicken tenders. If you like spicy, this mustard recipe is for you!

  1. In a small bowl, mix all the ingredients together until well combined.
