burger on a plate with fries

I was in the mood for a good Turkey Burger and since I had some leftover cooked turkey bacon, I decided to chop some up and put it in the patty.

You are probably wondering what is so special about this turkey burger recipe. Well it does call for some shredded zucchini which besides adding some nutrients, the zucchini keeps the patty moist.

You can use regular bacon in place of the turkey bacon.

For these burgers, I decided to sear them in a skillet for a few minutes on each side until browned then I baked them in the oven to finish cooking them.

This is just how I made the burgers but you can cook them in the skillet till the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
