What I love about recipes like this is how versatile they are. You can double or triple the ingredients if you are serving a big crowd like for a Super Bowl party.

You can also substitute some of the ingredients to your liking. For example, you can use a mild or extra sharp cheddar depending on your preference. You can use turkey bacon if you prefer.

The number of flour tortillas you need to use up all the filling depends on how much filling you put on each. I like my pinwheels to have a lot of filling so 3-4 flour tortillas usually does the trick.

While you can pretty much use any brand of cream cheese, I highly recommend you use Philadelphia brand cream cheese. You will taste the difference.

Also, make sure the flour tortillas are at room temperature before you roll them up. If they are cold they will crack on you when you roll them up. This is an important step.

When the time comes to warm up your tortillas, you have a few options. You can wrap the tortillas in foil and bake them for 10 minutes at 350°F. You can also put them in a non-stick pan to heat both sides of the tortilla (this is how I usually do it), heat them over an open flame, or if you must, wrap them in a damp paper towel and microwave them for about 30 seconds.

If you don’t have any fresh dill or parsley on hand feel free to substitute for dried dill and parsley or you can leave these 2 ingredients out completely.
