I was craving a burger so instead of making some with beef, I decided to make these delicious Bacon Ranch Chicken Burgers.
The process for making these Bacon Ranch Chicken Burgers is no different than if you were making beef or turkey burgers.
How to Make Bacon
If you struggle to make bacon perfectly, I’ve put together a short tutorial on How to Make Perfect Bacon – 3 Ways. Check it out! My preferred method is baking it in the oven. If you happen to have an Air Fryer you can also make your bacon in it by following my Air Fryer Bacon recipe.
Recipe Tip
If you don’t feel like cooking bacon just for this recipe you can use precooked bacon. Simply warm it up in the microwave and chop it up. You probably won’t even taste the difference.
To ensure the ground chicken is cooked through, you will want to make sure the internal temperature of each patty is 160°F. A good food thermometer will do the trick.
For the hamburger buns you can use whatever kind you prefer. I like a good brioche bun but sesame buns also go great with these chicken burgers.
If you haven’t already, make sure you check out the recipe I published on how to make Homemade Sesame Hamburger Buns. There’s nothing like a fresh homemade bun to go with your burger.
I also prefer to use medium cheddar cheese for these burgers but you can use whatever kind you want or not use any at all if you don’t like cheese on your burgers.
Air Fryer Method
If you own an Air Fryer you can also cook the patties in it. Simply spray a little cooking spray or brush some olive oil on both sides of the patties and cook for about 5 minutes on each side at 350°F. Make sure the Internal temperature is 160°F.
