This CopyCat Chick-fil-A Chicken Salad Sandwich recipe gives my Chicken Salad Sandwich recipe a run for its money! Chick-fil-a rarely disappoints when it comes to great tasting food and this chicken salad sandwich delivers!

Whenever I go to Chick-fil-a I usually have their classic Chicken Sandwich. But this time around I was in the mood for something a little different so I ordered their Chicken Salad Sandwich. Wow! I’m sure glad I did! It was delish! It was so good that I needed to try and replicate it at home as we all know how much I love making Copycat recipes.

Why this recipe is even more important, Chick-fil-A stopped offering this sandwich back in 2017 after 50 years on their menu. At least you can make it at home now.

There are really no special ingredients in this Chicken Salad that make this sandwich stand out. I think it’s just the ratio of ingredients that makes this one a delicious chicken salad sandwich.

If you need a little help in making the perfect hard-boiled egg check out this short tutorial. I realize there are many different ways to make hard-boiled eggs, but this method has never let me down.

Since the goal of a Copycat Recipe is for it to taste exactly like the original, it’s only natural to rate this recipe against the original. This Copycat recipe rates a solid 8 out of 10 in my opinion.

  1. Sounds like a good basic chic salad recipe byt notging like chick fil a. I believe they use the fried sandwich breast, boiled egg, some kind of sweet pickles, mayo and use a blender. I like that you used the simple wheat toasted sandwich bread. They changed to some kind of really thick bread, lettuce n tomato. The bread took the flavor or the chick salad away. Now its no longer on the menu,,, they even took the cups of chick salad off to eat with crackers. Another thing. Chick soup used to be wonderful for years, now they changed it and i see nothing but bad reviews on it. If its not broke, don’t fix it!
