Satisfy your pizza cravings with these mouthwatering Pepperoni Pizza Bombs. Customize the ingredients to create your perfect bite.
I will be the first to admit that I am not big on trending recipes you see all over social media. Viral one day then gone the next day.
In this case, I am making an exception because these Pepperoni Pizza Bombs are… the bomb! (and I love pizza!)
One of the things I like about this recipe besides being super easy to make (and yummy) is you can customize the ingredients to your liking.
Instead of the pepperoni, you can add a bit of ground sausage or bacon. You can even add a piece of sliced jalapeño if you like your pizza a little spicy.

- Refrigerated Pizza Dough – room temperature
- Pizza Sauce – store-bought or my Homemade Pizza Sauce
- Mini Pepperoni – you can use regular pepperoni chopped up as well. Turkey pepperoni is an option as well
- Mozzarella Cheese – or any other cheese that melts well
- Unsalted Butter – used to help brown the top of the pizza bombs
- Italian Seasoning – store-bought or you can make your own Homemade Italian Seasoning
How to Make Pepperoni Pizza Bombs
- Preheat the oven to 375ºF. Lightly grease a muffin pan with cooking spray. Set aside.
- Divide the pizza dough into equal portions. Depending on the size of the dough you will yield 8-12 pieces.
- Place approximately 1/2 teaspoon of pizza sauce in the center of each piece of dough.
- Top each with some mozzarella cheese and 2 slices of pepperoni.
- Fold the edges of the dough up and around the filling, then pinch them together, forming a small ball. Place the dough balls in the muffin pan seam side down.
- Brush the tops of the pizza bombs with the melted butter. Optionally sprinkle each dough ball with some Italian Seasoning.
- Bake until golden brown, about 20 minutes. Remove the pizza bombs from the muffin pan and let cool slightly.
- Optionally serve with extra pizza sauce.
