    ranch bbq chopped salad

There's nothing like a nice fresh green salad for dinner. This Ranch BBQ Chopped Salad is easy to make and packed full of flavor. Give it a try, you won't regret it.

There isn't anything extra special about this salad but the corn and black beans make this salad super flavorful. If you aren't a fan of fresh cilantro you can leave it out. Maybe substitute for some fresh parsley.

You can use whatever kind and flavor of BBQ sauce you have on-hand but be mindful that some flavors of BBQ sauce might not play nice with the other ingredients. Personally I like to use Sweet Baby Ray's Sweet Vidalia Onion BBQ Sauce for this recipe.

If you are serving this salad as a main dish, you will most likely only get 2 servings. Serving this salad as a side you should get 4 servings. Personally, I love this salad as my main course. So filling!

If you don't use black beans often, make sure you rinse them off really well in a colander. I like to rinse them till the water runs clear. While you must drain your corn, there is really no reason to rinse it.

    💭 Ingredient Substitution

I like to use Romaine lettuce for this recipe but you can substitute for some Leafy Green Lettuce or whatever else you have on hand. No matter what kind of lettuce you select this is one delicious salad!

Excellent recipe. Very easy to make and delicious. I am definitely not a fan of ranch dressing but in this recipe it gives it a nice flavour. A must for a lunch or supper.

This salad I have made many times and it is always a hit. The BBQ sauce just tops it off and makes the flavour perfect.
