I love making Chili. And this Spicy Pork Chili recipe is super easy to make in your Slow Cooker. Set it and forget about it till it’s ready to serve.

I don’t make chili very often with pork which is a total shame. What kind of boneless pork you use for this chili recipe is totally up to you. You can use a pork tenderloin, boneless pork roast or boneless pork chops.

I always have a pork tenderloin in my meat freezer so this is what I usually use. But if you have a few pork chops lying around they would be perfect for this delicious pork chili.

I often get asked if my chili recipes can be made in a pot over the stove. The answer is YES! Almost all my chili recipes can be made on the stovetop.
You just need to make sure your pot is big enough to hold all the ingredients. For this chili recipe, you should brown the chunks of pork before adding them to the pot.

Once you have all the ingredients in the pot you will need to put the lid on and cook over low heat. I suggest stirring occasionally so nothing gets stuck to the bottom of the pot. The chili will be ready when the pork is cooked through and tender.
Slow Cooker Tip
Try to resist as much as possible the temptation to open the lid while it’s cooking as the slow cooker loses heat. By just opening the lid to stir the contents can make the internal temperature drop by 10°F to 15°F.

As I often talk about on this food blog, I love spicy food, almost to a fault. I am always surprised at how often I am underwhelmed by spicy recipes while others find them too spicy.
Personally I would describe this pork chili as mild at best so if you are like me and looking to take it up a notch, I would suggest adding some crushed red pepper flakes or a finely diced jalapeño.
