I recently had some leftover Tri-Tip that I didn't want to go to waste and decided to make some sandwiches. Wanting something a little different to garnish my sandwich, I decided to make this awesome Sriracha Aioli. If you are looking for a good Aioli recipe, this is a great one to try!

This spicy Sriracha Aioli also goes great on burgers and makes a great dipping sauce for chicken tenders, vegetables, french fries made in your air fryer and even on fish tacos! If you are tired of plain old ketchup with your french fries then give this sriracha aioli a try! I also enjoy putting this aioli on my Turkey Burgers.

    💭 What is Aioli

Aioli is a creamy sauce very similar to mayonnaise. The major difference between the two is that Aioli is typically made of garlic, salt, and olive oil while mayonnaise is made from egg yolks and canola oil. While similar in appearance, the flavor profile of each is very different.

When making an aioli sauce, I usually just whisk everything together in a small bowl until it's nice and creamy. Alternatively, you can combine all the ingredients in a food processor and puree till smooth. I hate cleaning my food processor so I make mine by hand. Use whatever method is the most convenient for you.

You will need 1 fresh lime to get the 2 tablespoons you need to make this aioli recipe. If you don't have fresh limes on hand you can use lime juice out of a bottle. Just try to get a high-quality brand to maximize the flavor of the aioli.

    💭 What is Sriracha Sauce

Sriracha Hot Sauce originated in Thailand. It's typically made with chili peppers, vinegar, garlic, sugar and salt. In the United States, Sriracha sauce is manufactured by Huy Fong Foods. It's sometimes called Rooster Sauce because of the rooster logo on the bottle.

Like most sauce recipes, I highly recommend you let the sauce sit in the fridge for at least an hour to let all the ingredients meld together. After an hour you can do a taste test and add more Sriracha if desired and fine-tune the Salt to taste.
