I love this copycat sweet and sour recipe from McDonald’s. Super easy to make and tastes just like the real thing.
I love using this sweet and sour sauce for dipping my chicken nuggets or chicken tenders but I also like to dip my french fries in it.

You can also use this dipping sauce in many different ways. Serve it with egg rolls, dumplings, or spring rolls. You can also use it as a glaze for chicken or pork or use it as a condiment for your Sandwiches or Wraps.
Ingredient Substitution
You can use some Apricot Jam if you don’t have any Apricot Preserves on hand. Remember to use what you already have on hand!

Founded in 1940, McDonald’s is the world’s largest restaurant chain based on revenue best known for its hamburgers, especially for its Big Macs. You can make your own Big Mac by making my Copycat McDonald’s Big Mac Sauce recipe.
Copycat Rating
Since the goal of a Copycat Recipe is for it to taste exactly like the original, it’s only natural to rate this recipe against the original. This Copycat recipe rates a solid 9 out of 10 in my opinion.

Tips
- Let the sauce sit for at least 1 hour in the refrigerator. This will allow all the flavors to meld. You can use it immediately, but the longer you let it sit in the refrigerator, the more flavorful it will be.
