I was recently asked to bring a couple of side dishes to a BBQ I was attending and was having a hard time deciding what to bring. I finally settled on this Copycat Chick-fil-A Coleslaw recipe.

How could I go wrong with coleslaw? I mean I could’ve just made my awesome macaroni salad or my delicious ranch style beans but really wanted to make something different.

Since the goal of a Copycat Recipe is for it to taste exactly like the original, it’s only natural to rate this recipe against the original. This Copycat recipe rates a solid 8 out of 10 in my opinion.

You will need the following ingredients to make this Copycat Coleslaw recipe from Chick-fil-A (see recipe card for quantities): Mayonnaise, White Vinegar, White Sugar, Ground Dry Mustard, Kosher Salt and Coleslaw Mix.

  1. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, vinegar, sugar, dry mustard, and salt until smooth.
  2. Add in shredded coleslaw mix and fold over with the spatula until completely coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.

    I have made coleslaw often, but this one has to be the number one of all recipes. Very tasty and it is even better the next day.
