It’s that time of year again where it appears everything I make has pumpkin in it. And this Pumpkin Pie Mousse Dip recipe is no different. Super easy to make and tastes great with apple slices or graham crackers.
I made a batch of this Pumpkin Dip for Thanksgiving one year. My 5-year-old nephew Codi was a little hesitant to try it at first but after he took the first bite, he wouldn’t leave the stuff alone!
Recipe Tip
While you can pretty much use any brand of cream cheese, I highly recommend you use Philadelphia brand cream cheese. You will taste the difference.
He started off dipping apple slices in it but when he ran out of apples he ate the rest with a spoon! So much for it being a “dip”. He probably figured it was just a mousse at that point.
In addition to apples, you can basically use any kind of fruit that would pair well with the flavor of pumpkin. We’ve even used some graham crackers with this pumpkin pie mousse.
Regardless of how you decide to eat this tasty pumpkin-flavored mousse dip, I am sure you will agree with me (and Codi) that this recipe is a keeper and I need to make it more often during the fall.
