Rodney's Secret Burger Sauce is my attempt a recreating the Big Mac Sauce made famous by McDonald's. This is one great copycat sauce!
    Rodney's Secret Burger Sauce

I was tired of always having the same condiments on my beef burgers so I decided to create my own. To be honest, I was trying to replicate McDonald's Big Mac® Sauce. That's why I am calling this "Rodney's Secret Burger Sauce".

This recipe is so simple to make and chances are you already have all the ingredients at home. You can always substitute the cornichons for any pickle as long as they are dill and not sweet.

    Rodneys Secret Burger Sauce

My parents used to take me to McDonald's as a kid all the time. I first started off eating a plain burger without pickles, french fries and a strawberry shake. But when I started getting older, I graduated to the Big Mac®. I vividly recall that it was the secret sauce that I liked. And now I have done my best to try and recreate the flavor so I can enjoy a "Big Mac" at home.

While you are at it, you may want to add an order of beer batter onion rings to your order! You can find my Grandad’s Beer Batter Onion Rings‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬ recipe to be an excellent choice!

📋 What Ingredients do I need

You will need the following ingredients to make my secret burger sauce recipe (see recipe card for quantities): Ketchup, Brown Mustard, Mayonnaise, Light Brown Sugar and Cornichons.

🥣 How to Make Secret Burger Sauce

In a medium bowl, mix the ketchup, brown mustard, brown sugar and mayonnaise.
Add in the chopped cornichons and mix until evenly distributed.
Let the sauce sit for at least 1 hour in the refrigerator. This will allow all the flavors to meld. You can use it immediately, but the longer you let it sit in the refrigerator, the more flavorful it will be.
