The rock star of this recipe is the Heath Bars. Toffee, almonds and chocolate in one delicious candy bar. These candy bars are very popular in baking so you can now buy Heath Bar Bits in a bag!
I'm fortunate enough that I can buy Heath Bar Bits at my local grocery store. They are basically Heath Bars that are already chopped up for you ready to use. It saves you a lot of time when making this recipe. If you can't find any at your local grocery store, chop up 2 Heath Bars for this recipe.
