A simple but delicious Turkey Cheddar Burger recipe. Just a handful of simple ingredients is all you need for these tasty burgers.
I picked up some delicious Pretzel Hamburgers Buns recently so I decided to cobble up this Turkey Cheddar Burgers recipe.
I wanted to use ingredients I had on hand so kept this turkey burger recipe pretty simple. Chances are you have all the main ingredients on hand.
The one ingredient I decided to use for this first time in my patties is the Montreal Chicken Seasoning. You’re probably familiar with their Steak Seasoning but this one is for poultry.
If you don’t have any Montreal Chicken Seasoning on hand don’t stress. You can simply whip up a batch of my Homemade Poultry Seasoning.
And if you are not in the mood for that, simply add some salt, ground black pepper and some garlic powder.
While I used Sharp Cheddar Cheese for this burger recipe, you can use whatever type of cheddar cheese you have on hand. Or experiment a bit and use some other kind of shredded cheese.
Obviously, you can use whatever condiment you prefer with your Turkey Burgers like a Mayonnaise and sweet Relish mixture, I prefer my Sriracha Aioli with these burgers. I like mine to have a bit of a kick to them!
Recipe Tip
I highly recommend letting your burger patties rest in the refrigerator for an hour or so before cooking them. This will not only help them keep their shape but also allow all the flavors to meld together.

Love these turkey cheddar burgers. I used mild cheddar cheese as that was the cheese I had on hand. They were delicious. It was the first time I had used ground turkey for burgers and they turned out great.
