You are probably wondering why I am calling this a crema instead of a sauce. Well out of respect for its origin of Mexico, I am going to call it a crema. You can read up about it here.
UPDATE: I was making some fish tacos for dinner one night using some Cod fillets I had and needed a creamy sauce to go with them. Turns out I didn’t have enough sour cream on hand so I used some Crema Mexicana by Cacique as a substitute.
If you do sub the sour cream for the crema I would recommend using less milk. Just use enough until you reach the desired consistency.
