My good friend Jan’s husband shared his favorite Blue Cheese Salad Dressing recipe that he’s been making for decades. I love Blue Cheese and LOVED this dressing on my salad.

When making green salads I like to experiment with different kinds of dressings. The first time I was offered to try this blue cheese salad dressing I knew right away I needed to get his recipe.

Up until this recipe, my favorite homemade salad dressing recipe was my Superb Jalapeño Salad Dressing. Salad Dressing with a kick!
Recipe Variation
For extra Blue Cheese flavor, melt another 2-4 oz of blue cheese and add to the mayonnaise and sour cream mixture in step #2.

Ingredient Substitution
You can use fresh tarragon instead of the ground tarragon. Like I always say, use what you got on hand!

Tips
- I strongly suggest you do a taste test before you add the salt to the mixture. Blue Cheese can be salty so you may not need to add more salt.
Serving Suggestions
In addition to using it on your salad, this dressing also makes a perfect dip for spicy chicken wings, raw vegetables, or in Sandwiches & Wraps.
